Paramore pakt de KINK XL met This is Why
Vijf jaar lang was het stil rondom Paramore. Vooruit, er was een solo album van frontvrouw Hayley Williams, maar de fans wilde vooral weten, wanneer er nieuw Paramore-materiaal uit zou komen. En dat wachten wordt nu beloond. 'This Is Why' hoor je deze week als KINK XL!
'This is Why' is de titeltrack van een nieuw Paramore-album, wat op 10 februari 2023 uit komt. Eerder liet de band al weten vooral inspiratie uit de muziek van Bloc Party te halen voor deze zesde plaat en op deze eerste single, is dat ook goed te horen. "This Is Why was the very last song we wrote for the album", vertelt Hayley Williams daar zelf over. "To be honest, I was so tired of writing lyrics but Taylor convinced Zac and I both that we should work on this last idea. What came out of it was the title track for the whole album".
